Biography
CONTRACTED TRAINER
Tom is a contracted trainer with Livingstone Training. He brings a background in flight instruction, corporate aviation and the human side of safe operations, with a focus on making training useful beyond the classroom.
He began flying in 1997 and started instructing in 1999. His experience includes teaching RAF fast-jet pilots on the Hawk T1 and flying in corporate aviation. This combination of instructional and operational experience informs his approach to crew resource management, human factors and safety training.
Tom’s sessions use discussion, practical examples and operational scenarios to explore communication, decision-making and the conditions that influence performance. He encourages delegates to question assumptions, share experience and connect the course material with the decisions they make at work.
